RRPF Hires a Development Manager

RRPF News!
The RRPF is thrilled to share the news of our first hire! Melissa Klein has been hired as the RRPF Development Manager. Melissa will be helping the RRPF to continue to grow capacity as a Rare As One organization.

About Melissa:
Melissa Klein is thrilled to join RRPF on a contract basis to build on the organization’s fundraising strategies, donor relations, and development planning. She is a seasoned non profit leader having served development efforts at PBS Utah, Utah Symphony | Utah Opera, and Onstage Ogden in both grants and major donors. She has served as Executive Director for Onstage Ogden, the Madison-Morgan Cultural Center, and the Atlanta Chamber Players.

Melissa holds degrees in Business and Public Administration (Weber State University, UT), Business Design (SCAD, GA), and is currently completing an EdD in Organizational Change and Leadership (USC, CA). She holds the credential of Certified Fundraising Executive.

Melissa was drawn to this role through her own experience as the caregiver to a rare child – her son was born with a 1q4 chromosome deletion which changed the course of her family’s life forever. As a fundraiser, Melissa is honored to use her skills and energy to serve the RRPF as she understands the impact that financial resources can have for research, treatment, and patient support.
